UI/UX Design Checklist (Before-After)

Before Design:

  1. Client Brief:

    • Understand the client’s brand identity, target audience, and business goals.
    • Define user personas based on research.
    • Gather design inspiration and examples from competitors.
  2. Wireframing:

    • Develop low-fidelity wireframes for each page template.
    • Map out user flows to understand how users will navigate through the website.

During Design:

  1. UI Design:
    • Create high-fidelity designs with branding elements (logos, color schemes, typography).
    • Focus on usability and accessibility (clear buttons, legible fonts, and intuitive navigation).
    • Ensure CTAs stand out (color contrast, size).
  2. Responsiveness:
    • Design mobile-first and ensure the website adjusts smoothly across different screen sizes.

After Design:

  1. Design Handoff:
    • Provide all design assets to the development team (images, fonts, color codes).
    • Create style guides to maintain consistency in branding.
  2. Client Approval:
    • Present the final design to the client for feedback and approval before development.
